Leadership Team

Shri D K Mohan Babu

Chairman - Cambridge Group of Institutions

A visionary in the field of education, Mr. D.K. Mohan, is a founder member of the International Society for Technology in Education, India, Karnataka Chapter (ISTE INDIA). He has dedicated his life for the cause of quality education and hence pursues his dream relentlessly. He believes that Cambrians should be nurtured with motivation, inspiration and proper guidance, which would be the responsibility of the School Management and teachers.

“We must view young people not as empty bottles to be filled, but as candles to be lit. Every moment is a stepping stone for our Cambrians. We believe in imparting quality education to them and nurturing them with love, trust, bonding and faith. My sincere thanks go to all my parents who have entrusted their children in our care and have always been a strong support to the Cambridge family.”

Mrs. Sheethal

Director - Cambridge School

Mrs. Sheethal is the young, dynamic and far-sighted Director of Cambridge School, who always has fresh and innovative plans for the school.

“We at Cambridge believe that `Knowledge is a treasure but Practice is the key to it.’ It is the propelling force behind each one of our initiatives. For the success of any individual, character building is fundamental and growth has to be all-round. It is therefore extremely important to strike a balance between academics, sports and co-curricular activities. I feel that the only constant in this world is change and the more versatile you are, the better suited you will be to adapt to the changing environment.
So, gear up, explore and embrace new ideas, for you might just discover or invent something revolutionary and help make the world a better place!”

Mrs. Veena Shashidhara

Principal - Cambridge School

Everyone is born with phenomenal mental and spiritual power within oneself. Right from the time when we are born the extra ordinary power manifest. Education gives us the power to control and guide us in the right direction. It is not just a bundle of books or curriculum but also interaction with the world around us.
My dear students, these are your most precious years of learning and growing up. You need to be creative, open minded and god fearing enough to understand human values, needs and respect of self as well as others. It is imperative that you learn the difference between inputs and outcomes i.e., your actions and their consequences.
The teaching profession within itself is very complex. The complexity extends from preparing material to guide and encourage children and adult students. The young mind develops by experiencing one’s day-to-day meeting with peer group, elders and through many other media.
We, teachers, have a great challenge to meet all these changing attitudes and aspirations of youngsters. With involvement of parents, teachers and students, we could have a healthy group of students with positive thinking which will help them to be an understanding adult in future.
I would sum up with a quote by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore:
“I slept and dreamt that life was joy,
I awoke and saw that life was service,
I acted and behold, service was joy.”
