Clubs

  • We believe that a number of life skills can be acquired from these various school clubs that the school offers to all its students.
  • Cambrians are given the option to select their clubs and enrich themselves by learning something new here.
  • We believe that the invention of these clubs will not discriminate against any one. It is possible to have students from all standards united under one umbrella which gives everyone an opportunity to learn from each other and invent something new and creative.
  • The various clubs offered by the school to cater to the all- round development of the Cambrian are listed below:

  • Literary Club: Students are given the scope to express their notions and ideas and also they are trained how to stress upon their interactive and communication skills through a number of activities related to reading, speaking, listening and writing.

  • Theatre Club: We believe that every child is an artist. Dramatics channelize the child’s powers of expression, emoting and exaggeration and turn it into an art form. Students explore their capacity for real acting along with technical support, Body language, diction etc.,

  • Science Club: We feel that Self-expression, independent research, constructive activities, etc., are some of the opportunities provided by the science clubs. Science clubs also allow the students to work on their own ideas, hobbies and experiments.

  • Creative Art Club: This is a manifold session where children will engage in a host of activities that involve finger skills and imagination. Using simple, easily available materials, they will learn to make pretty and practical objects such as paper flowers; vegetable diyas; bags, mobile cases. They will be introduced to needlework; calendar art; beadwork and other artistic activities.

  • Music Club: We believe that music is a ‘super skill’ that confers multiple benefits on the students. This club can help in physical wellbeing (better motor coordination) mental wellbeing (more autonomy, pleasure out of life, sense of belonging, less stress and depression, and help with making friendships and going through grieving process)

  • Journalism Club: Cambrians are provided with a platform to develop their writing skills, to increase their confidence level, to become aware of their responsibilities towards the society and to provide a voice to themselves through this Club.

  • Astronomy Club: Through this podium the students will observe and understand the wonders of the skies and the secrets of Space Science. Star gazing; Planetary Movements; Spatial Phenomenon will be taught with practical lessons and teaching aids.

  • Social & Environmental Club To become more aware and alert about the world around, the students will participate in numerous activities that will enable them to study and protect the environment , as well as become responsible and proactive citizens.

  • There are many more such clubs offered to Cambrians to enrich themselves with creativity as well as enthusiasm in making the best use of the resources provided in these various segments.
